In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top Maps and Navigation applications on Android in Malta showcased intriguing trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Navionics® Boating from Garmin experienced a noticeable decrease in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $884 and steadily dropping to around $85 by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly downloads spiked mid-quarter, hitting 33 in the first week of September, before returning to single digits.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps saw a fluctuating revenue pattern, beginning the quarter at $136, dipping in August, and recovering to $115 towards the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 13 in early July.

TomTom GO Expert: Truck GPS exhibited a steady revenue increase through the quarter, reaching $119 in early September. Downloads showed minor fluctuations, with a peak of 8 in mid-July.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector maintained a strong presence with consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 100 throughout the quarter. Revenue reached a high of $93 in late September.

Lastly, Circuit Route Planner displayed a notable revenue increase in mid-September, peaking at $115. Downloads, however, experienced a decline, with occasional peaks such as 24 in early July.
